Nothing negative to say.

The ridge bar and grill is just a walk down to the hotel. 20 minutes' drive to the airport.

Nice big bathrooms. The rest of the room and hotel would need a refresher. Have a good dinner. Perfectly all right for one night. Book better room category.

Everything was a bit worn out. Hope the new management makes something of it. There is potential.

the staff were friendly and helpful, and my room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. I especially enjoyed the well-designed bathroom and dining room, as well as the thoughtful dinner menu with delicious sauces. the hot breakfast...

loved my recent stay in macclesfield, and hollin house was a pleasant surprise! friendly staff, beautiful lobby and restaurant, and perfect location near the peak district. overall, a great experience playing snooker and exceeded my expectations....

Arrived on a Thursday but could not sleep due to a wedding reception in main hall creating such a noise in my room. Was then moved to the third floor for Friday and Saturday when another two wedding receptions disturbed my sleep especially when drunk guests returned to their rooms in the early hours of the morning. Hotel said that they would have warned me of the weddings had I booked direct. Not an acceptable excuse for me. This is not the place to stay if you are not part of the wedding.

Nice location

Place is tired, worn out and run down. Desperately in need of a refurb.

The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities provided. the view from the room window was gorgeous, offering a picturesque sight that added to the overall pleasant experience. the...  

We found that the facilities for guests were comfortable, spacious and well furnished. Service was helpful, cheerful, and friendly. food was excellent, and the hotel has an enviable location in view of its country aspect, and quietness....  

Wifi was not available for most of our stay and the wrong room was allocated initially.

Pleasantly surprised! Liked the beautiful grounds and the helpful and polite staff. Great that dogs were allowed, perfect for Christmas walks. Key location, with plenty of nice areas to walk around. The breakfast was...  

Good Price, Breakfast and atmosphere in hotel bar. Certainly improved all round since last stay about 4 years ago.

Only one easy chair in double room. No shaver point for electric shaver in room or bathroom
